SKILL LEVELS – we offer projects in a variety of skill levels to make it easier for you to be successful in learning a new technique. It is common to be advanced in one technique and a complete beginner in another. Search projects that have the stitch-type and skill-level you are comfortable with, and move up at your own speed.
Beginner and Beginner Friendly projects are written assuming you have never done this before. They define and explain the most basic steps and details. Lots of diagrams, graphics, and notes!
Advanced Beginner – these patterns are written with an assumption that you have done some of this technique before and have slightly less definitions within the text and begin to offer options to customize the project.
Intermediate – Take those basic skills and run with them! These patterns show how to build your project, offer variations, and discuss WHY a stitch works and HOW to manipulate it. There is generally a change to how you are used to seeing the technique and a challenge to try it differently.
Advanced – You know how a stitch works now let’s shake things up! Add variety, change direction, throw in different bead shapes, and challenge the construction process. Still plenty of images and step-by-step instructions, but assumes you understand how to do some construction independently.

Each project has an Instantly downloadable PDF instruction file that is available any time you are eager to bead. Simply add to cart and the file link will be provided after checkout.
Each description shows a list of materials needed, and any other tools you may need (pliers, glue, etc.) I try to make patterns with easy to find materials readily available at craft shops and bead stores, but if you need a shopping referral, see our resources page for recommended sites or message me directly.
Some projects have a Project Kit available with all the supplies and materials you need to make a project like what is in the picture. (Kits DO NOT INCLUDE: Needle, Thread, Scissors, Pliers etc. unless specifically stated in the description.). This is a great way to get your beading supplies in an already tested color-way, with less shopping and less-overstock!
