ADVANCED PEYOTE STITCH
The CHEVRON shape is in the height of fashion, make a set of these great hanging earrings and necklace with this great pattern, including diagrams and written step-by-step instructions.
This pattern is written for the ADVANCED BEADER – familiar with flat standard even-count and tubular peyote stitch. The diagonal stitch is slightly more complicated and consists of simultaneous increases/decreases on each row.
Project is worked with 2 or more colors of size 11/o cylinder seed beads (delicas). The edge color (bronze in pic), Side 1 (Turquoise in pic), and Side 2 (White, not in pic) *Pattern is adaptable to allow for more rows and colors at the makers discretion* With two to three colors, keeping track of the bead placement is easier AND you get a reversible piece at completion! These components are very versatile and can be used in more than the standard Chevron application (see gallery images). You will love this patterns versatility!
You will need:
- 2+ Colors of 11/o Delica/Cylinder Seed Beads
- 22 gauge head-pins
- 4-6mm Jumprings
- Chain
- Clasp
- Earring Parts
- *6lb Fireline
- *Beading Needle
- *Scissors/Burner
- *Pliers
