Peyote stitch is one of the most widely used and versatile stitches in bead weaving and can be done in an unlimited variety of ways and bead combinations. This pattern is a half-cellini, meaning it is stitched in a flat back-and-forth manner, that uses many different size beads which shapes the necklace into a half-round raised zig-zag shape! This pattern can be made to whatever length desired for a proper fit that is either choker style or collar length.
The use of various size beads helps the pattern to rise and fall in peaks and valleys that then move with the wearer and creates beautiful dimension and interest to any outfit.
Pattern is 14 full-color pages of written set-by-step instructions with detailed illustrations and photographs. This pattern is written for beaders with experience working with Peyote (flat and tubular) especially if you have worked a peyote pattern with different size beads. The beads range from size 15/o to 8/o and require tighter tension in some areas over others while stitching.
