The Galactic Pearls Necklace is a sophisticated and rich looking modern pearl necklace that will instantly dress-up any outfit.
This pattern will walk you through the construction of this component based bead weaving project using brick-stitch layering techniques. The design can be easily adjusted to your desired length. Some experience with brick-stitch is helpful but not necessary.
ATTN: This project was printed in the December/January 2020 issue of BEADWORK (page 30), you can use that pattern if you have the magazine.
Materials Needed:
- 20 – 12mm Pearl or Round beads
- 32 – 8mm Pearl or Round beads
- 5g – 8/o Japanese Seed Beads
- 10g – 11/o Japanese Seed Beads
- 5g – 15/o Japanese Seed Beads
- Clasp of choice
- Fireline 6lb*
- #12 Beading Needle*
- Scissors (Burner optional)*
*Items are not included in the kit. Each kit includes a printed instruction manual no need to buy seperatey*
I recommend TOHO Japanese Seed beads as their size is true to this pattern (Miyuki is usually a little smaller, may have some pattern adjustments.)
