Oh, Honey! – CRAW

Description

Create a BUZZ with this new hexagon shape CRAW component design.  Make simple earrings, a banded bracelet, or a intricate collar masterpiece, the design options are limitless!  You can be queen of the hive and collect a swarm of compliments with any combination of these fun shaped components.

This pattern is INTERMEDIATE LEVEL design, assuming you have knowledge of working CRAW and changing direction. There are 14 full-color pages with detailed diagrams and written step-by-step for creating a component, joining them in different ways, designing your piece, and embellishment ideas.  Tension of the edge beading is key!

Beads used in this project are11/o round seed beads – I used Matsuono #399X and #F3 (2 grams each color for every component)

You will also need: TOHO One G beading thread (or 6lb Firleline), Beading Needle, Scissors/Burner, 6mm Jump-Rings, small magnetic clasps, 6mm BLACK round beads, 10mm GOLD Stipe beads, Lg. Frosted White Dagger beads, 11/o and 6/o Demi Rounds, 9mm crystal teardrops, head-pins, 6-8mm crystal rondelles, ear wires or clasps.  (Some of these items may be available in our shop!)

OR – Purchase the kit and get everything you need all at once!  Kit includes 30gr of each seed bead color listed above, materials to build 7 bees, jump-rings, head-pins, magnetic clasps, a 50 yd spool of One G Thread in cream, and crystal teardrops!  All you will need is your beading needle, scissors, and pliers!
