Whirly-Gig! Spiral Necklace KIT

Description

Enjoy Spirals?! As seen in Bead & Jewellery Magazine issue # 107, this versatile pattern works by creating shape with alternating bead sizes in a particular manner using tubular herringbone stitch. Along the way, you will also add and connect spiral ends with alternating pearl or round beads that appear to float inside the rings.

This is an Advanced Level pattern, written for beaders that have a knowledge of herringbone stitch. You will also need to be able to work with small 15/0 seed beads and hold a tight tension for successful completion.

10 grams – 8/o Round Japanese Seed Beads

5 grams – 15/o Round Japanese Seed Beads

1 Clasp of your choice

You will need a #12 beading needle, Fireline 8lb or equivalent beading thread, and scissors
