This is an Advanced Beginner level bead weaving pattern using Cubic Right angle Weave (CRAW) to create stand-alone shapes.
5 detailed color pages, full of illustrations, and step-by-step construction instructions to guide you through the project learning how to use CRAW (Cubic Right Angle Weave) to make shapes in 8/o or 11/o size seed beads. Beaders should have a general understanding of how to create a CRAW strip, this pattern does not fully cover that. The pattern is written for those wanting to take CRAW to the next level and learn shaping, edging, and joining parts together. Practicing in 8/o size seed beads is a great way to learn handling and tension in CRAW construction techniques. Make the pieces in 11/o beads for a smaller and more intricate outcome. This pattern goes over basic construction techniques for each shape and HOW you can use them to make a necklace, pendants, or earrings. The options of what you can use the shapes for is endless!
You will need:
5grams Seed beads for each shape to make
8 lb Fireline or 6 lb. Fireline (for 11/o bead shapes)
To make jewelry components, you may also want ear wires, 6-8mm Jumprings, small link chain, etc.
ATTN: We occasionally hold online classes for this project, if interested in an online class check out the calendar before purchasing the pattern here. Discount may be available.
